English - Holding On
On our first day back, we were out to impress with our very first English lesson of the year! We worked in teams to discover what a photo might be showing. By carefully putting puzzle pieces together, we started to develop a picture of what the final photo might be. Some of us thought that it was a swamp and some of us thought that it was a boy being chased by a shark. We soon realised that it was actually a picture of a boy holding on to a shark! Next week, we will be writing stories about the photo. We wrote down our initial ideas on to post it notes and have put them on display.
