Hello Ash Class!
I am currently writing your end of year reports! It would be really helpful if you could fill out the attached form and then email this back to me. It will let me know what your own personal thoughts are about this year, which I can include in your report.
I have included some example answers to help you, but please think of your own ideas.
Thank you for your help!

Hello Ash Class,
I hope you have all had a wonderful, sunny half term and lots of time to unwind and relax from all the brilliant home learning work you have been doing! It’s very exciting here at school this week, preparing for some of the children in eligible year groups to return but it is sad that we still can’t be together. However, I am extremely confident you are going to continue to amaze me with your efforts and achievements from home.
I hope you enjoy the arts week theme and I am looking forward to seeing some of your pictures.
Best wishes, Miss Claridge

Hello Ash Class!
I hope you are well and that you enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend. I just wanted to tell you about a couple of things for this week.
First of all, for Maths, you might have seen at the bottom of your timetable, that I have suggested using White Rose Maths activities. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make these resources available to you, so please just stick to the shape activities I have suggested each day. My apologies if you had been planning on completing the White Rose activities this week!

Secondly, it was great to see so many of you in our video calls last week and so I am going to be available to repeat this again this week. I have set aside Thursday 14th May for us to have some 10 minute sessions, when you can tell me about what you have been doing at home. Just like last week, please email me with your preferred time slot and I shall respond to arrange a suitable time. Please don't worry if you can't fit it in on Thursday, I am sure that we will be continuing to arrange other opportunities in the weeks to come.

Thank you for all of your lovely photographs and emails. I look forward to hearing from you all throughout the week and it is great to see your continued hard work and brilliant efforts.
Thank you for your continued support.
Best wishes, Miss Claridge

Hello Ash class,
I have some exciting news.....

This week, I am going to be available on Thursday 7th May for 1:1 pupil Zoom calls, as long as a parent/guardian is present when making the call. The call is not based on a specific theme - if you wanted to share a piece of work that you are particularly proud of, or discuss something on the timetable that is fine. Alternatively, if you just wanted to have a general chat that is more than welcome too! I am not checking on how much work you have completed!

If you would like to arrange a Zoom call with me, please email me with a preferred time slot on Wednesday 6th May. I will then reply to confirm/rearrange the requested time slot and, on Thursday, I will send an email inviting you to join the call. Due to expecting a high demand in call requests, in order to fit you in and ensure everyone who wishes to speak to me can do, there will be a maximum call time of 10 minutes per call. At this moment in time, I am not attending group video calls.

The Zoom calls are not compulsory and are completely optional. Therefore, please do not feel obliged to have to arrange one. It is completely of your child/s free choice.
Please find a copy of the Video Chat acceptable use policy which must be read by every member of the household who wishes to attend a video call prior to arranging a meeting with me.

I look forward to seeing your smily faces in the not too distant future!
Best wishes, Miss Claridge

Hello Ash Class,
I hope you and your families have had a good Easter and have been making the most of the sunshine. Please do not worry if you find it a little bit challenging to get back into a routine this week, just try your very best. I have added a new timetable and some other suggested Home Learning activities to keep you busy. We have a new topic too. I am looking forward to seeing all the things you achieve this week
Best wishes,
Miss Claridge
