Summer 2021
Details of a more structured programme of activities for Tree House during Term 6. Some of you will remember when we started the after-school club, we had dance, cookery, gymnastics and other activities. On Wednesdays & Thursdays, we have two sports coaches from Club Energy, and we are keen to utilise their talents in a more structured way.

The new programme will be trialled throughout Term 6 (starting on 8th June) as we need to assess whether numbers remain at a level where we are able to cater for parents who need Tree House as childcare in addition to those who would like their child to take part in an activity. All bookings should be made via Scopay in the usual way.

Here is the proposed timetable:

Indoor/Outdoor  Activities  Athletics

Non sporting activities available

Basketball & Netball Skills

Non sporting activities available
Batting & Fielding Skills

Non sporting activities available
Arts & Crafts

So, for example, if your child would like to do Sports on Thursday, you can book a half session on Tree House. If you have booked childcare on Monday ( a full session), you will know that your child can do Athletics during the first half or a non sporting activity. There are always games and activities for those children who are not keen to do physical activity. However, we would hope that the weather will be suitable for all the children to be outside at least next term!

If you have any problems booking a place on certain days, please email or ring the school office. Once we have established a pattern with regard to numbers of children and staffing levels, we will be able to adapt accordingly.

We have reviewed our risk assessment and in line with current guidelines, we will endeavour to maintain our bubbles as far as possible.
